Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Please read our cancellation policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Cancellation Window

You may cancel your order within 15 minutes of placing it, provided it has not yet been accepted or preparation has not begun. Once our kitchen has started preparing your order, cancellation may not be possible.

2. How to Cancel

To request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible:

• Please include your order number and the reason for cancellation

Cancellation requests are handled on a best-efforts basis. We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has been acknowledged by our team.

3. Refunds on Cancellation

If your cancellation request is approved before preparation begins, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method:

• Credit/debit card (Stripe): 5–10 business days depending on your bank
• You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated

If your order has already entered preparation, a refund may not be possible. We will assess each case individually and communicate the outcome to you promptly.

4. Orders We Cannot Cancel

The following orders cannot be cancelled:

• Orders already in preparation or ready for collection
• Orders that have already been dispatched for delivery
• Pre-orders or catering orders within 48 hours of the scheduled time

5. Cancellation by Butter & Spice

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel your order due to ingredient unavailability, store closure, or other operational reasons. In such cases, you will be notified promptly and issued a full refund to your original payment method.
